I had a fantastic stay with comfortable rooms and super helpful staff, making it really easy to explore nearby parks like Prospect Park and enjoy landmarks such as the Hays County Historic Courthouse just a short walk away.

The stay was nice overall, with the cozy indoor pool and a relaxing hot tub that made our evenings enjoyable. I loved having fresh coffee available 24/7, and the breakfast options were decent, although a bit limited. Just a heads up, the hallway carpets could use a little TLC—still, I’d recommend checking it out! 😊

The breakfast offered a great variety, with delicious sandwiches that made mornings pleasant. However, the stay was marred by several issues, a strong tar smell infiltrated the room, the A/C was poorly functioning, leaving it uncomfortably warm at night, and two of the three room keys failed to work. The bathroom sink was both clogged and leaky, necessitating checkout a day early due to these inconveniences.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! We spent our days floating down the San Marcos River, which was just minutes away, and the hotel served as a perfect base for our family. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we woke up refreshed for breakfast every day.

In my wife’s opinion, a larger breakfast area would be great for families with children.

We had a room with a jacuzzi tub which was just what we needed after a long day. The indoor pool was relaxing, and staff really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable-like offering extra towels right away when we asked.
